After watching the World Championships in Track and Field, I really did not see any representation from Antigua. We have countries such as Trinidad, the Bahamas and Jamaica making great strides in the area of athletics. I believe the reason they have excelled is because they taken advantage of the University system in the United States. Why aren't we as a country [Antigua]trying to get more talented athletes into the University system? This would enhance their education and their athletic ability.

As a former member of the Antigua & Barbuda T&F team - I am extremely excited about the future of T&F in Antigua & BarbudaWe were well represented at the World T&F Championships this past weekend by "Bakka", we should use this as a stepping stone to get a world class facility built in ANU to continue the progress made so far We have the 4th fastest man in the world at 100m who trains with the world's fastest man, until my son grows up (ha ha)...But kidding aside, use the fact that "Bakka & Bolt train together and have them do appearances in ANU & abroad to raise funds Shout out to Lester B (SEC run tings), Fred Sowerby & Calvin Greenaway
