Hi David,In my English lesson IŽd pleased to answer your question about retirement in Argentina. I would consider the necessary income to rent a 2 bedroom apartment, have medical insurance, and everything including food, maintenance o a house in a nice area, restaurants, medical ins. etc por 3 people, will cost you ranging from U$S1.500 or U$S2.000 a month. English private schools start at about U$200 per child. If I can help you with any other recommendations, please let me know. Regards.

For years, I've been interested in South America. Now that I'm close to retirement, I'm considering living abroad. Can you give me accurate information about the cost of daily life in Argentina. My understanding is that Americans aren't safe in that country. I grew up in Texas. I'm drawn to the Latino culture. I've been considering Mexico, as well.............although, Mexico doesn't cozy up to white Americans, either. I will have approximately $2,000 dollars per month of retirement income. Any information you can provide will be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks! • Page 1 (Original Post) •
