Usually stopover, especially when your flight is delayed can be a truly boring addition to your vacation.Fortunately, at Jorge Newbery Aeroparque (AEP) in Buenos Aires it was just the opposite. In the terminal (after security) we found a great restaurant.
When we ordered, the waiter was concenered whether we would have enough time (we assured him we would)... and after a fairly short wait out came a great ribeye steak dinner and a chicken platter.
The food was not only delicious, but the price was astonishing too, and not what you would expect at an airport. It was a whopping us $11.12 for two!
The trick when you fly into Buenos Aires is to make sure you schedule your incoming and outgoing flights from the same airport. You might arrive at
Ezeiza Intl Ministro Pistarini (EZE) and leave from Jorge Newbery Aeroparque (AEP). That transfer is a less than fun experience.
