Hi,

I am not a cook, I am a artist but always like to know how things work. I tried cooking biryani, and it worked. Everyone liked it.

Here are the ingredients:

Half Kg rice, 1 kg chicken, 1tbsp garam masala, 1 onion, 2 big tbsp oil, 4 tbsp butter, 1 big tomato, 2 big spoon tomato puree, 1 tbsp cumin seed, 3 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp blackpeper powder, 1/2 tbsp red peper, 10 cashew-nut (grinded), 100ml wip-cream.

Wash rice and heat in the low flame with 1/2 tbsp salt and the water enough to soak.(If you want more aroma to it you can add 1 inch stick of cinnamon, 2 cardamon, 2 cloves and a bay leaf)

fry chicken in 2 big tbsp oil, 2 tbsp butter and a tbsp salt till it turns golden brown.take it out and fry onion in 2 tbsp oil when it turns brown add all the ingredients(2 tbsp butter, 1 big tomato chopped, 2 big spoon tomato puree, 1 tbsp cumin seed, 1 1/2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp blackpeper powder, 1/2 tbsp red peper, 10 cashew-nut (grinded), 100ml wip-cream.)Still all add 200ml water let it shimmer. Add rice over chicken curry (Don't stirr just add on top of it)Make sure the surface is even.Seal the container and let it cook for 25 mins in medium flame.

If you cook with love, people will love your food.

All the best

I picked this country out of a hat and have no idea about it. I apologize for that, but I have to make a dish from this country. I think the chicken biryani sounds good but I have no clue what it is. I would like to try to prepare this dish for our all- around- the- world pot luck. Can someone please e-mail me this recipe and I would be sure to let you know how it turned out. Or, if there is any other you have in mind please feel free to let me know. Thank you, Melinda Mitchell, Chicago, Il.
