Hello Serge,I am marrying in October this year. I am 35, my wife is 27. we are looking to go into the jetski rental business in the Dominican Republic in a couple of years so this would be an ideal opportunity for us. I have owned a large sports bar (Mickey's Sports Bar and Grill. Cortez Road) in Bradenton, Florida in the past. I am currently a contract software test management consultant and have travelled the world extensively with my work. I am very used to dealing with the public and so is my future wife. She is Polish by birth and has lived with me in the UK for the last 4 years. We are both trustworthy, hard working and a lot of fun to be around. We feel we would be an asset to your business in your absence and would be happy to undergo RYA jetski training at our own expense here in the uk prior to going to Barbados. Please let us know your thoughts and if and when we could meet for a chat. We live in Kent and are able to travel for the meeting. Best regards, Elliot & Marta

Dear Serge, I am a 44 year old retired racing driver, I am currently involved in a family manufacturing business. My partner of many years is 37 years old, she is a photographer by trade. We have spent time in Barbados and have been seriously considering a move there as we fell in love with the island and its people. We currently reside in Johannesburg, South Africa but travel extensively, mostly to the UK and the length and breadth of Southern Africa. We would be very interested in talking to you re the running of your business and feel we are are able and enthusiastic enough to tackle a business of this nature. I have vast experience in the field of mechanics and racy boy toys, my girlfriend has extensive frontline experience and deals with the public extremely well, she is highly amiable and capable. We look forward to your favourable reply. Best Regards Gary Mortimer and Laurel Heritage

To all the people who are intrested in Jetski operation in Barbados let me tell you its nothing but a headache, no money comes in the insurance is very high, the jetskis are calling for parts all the time yamaha in barbados sell just a few of the parts but at the most expensive prices, you will mainly have to order parts from Riva in Miami, just one or two guys in Barbados repair them there are very expensive to repair, due to some of the things i have mention above it shows that delays in getting parts and lack of respect from insurance companies in cases of accidents does cause you valuable time causing you to loss business, other jetski operators bring down the prices very low on a daily basic causing the whole jetski operation to operate without a profit on many occasion for e.g for half an hour it $50USD to $60USD the price comes down to $30-35.I am talking from experience i have own jetskis in Barbados just get rid of them this year it was one of the worst investment any person can make, the only reason you should get into the business is if you want to get bankrupt. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
