We are looking to come to Belize in the very near future.

My Husband and 3 children (that is 28 -25 -23) for a change in life style.

Any information you could provide would be extremly helpful

My husband is Ex Airforce now a catering engineer.

MY daughter & I are both mortgage underwriters with large companies.

Both my sons are ex Army and both HGV drivers. My eldest son is also a Padi diver.

What sort of opertunities are there. _We would have a sizable amount of income to bring with us. We are looking to come out i Nov for a visit but both sons feel that they may not want to come back to England

I've just found this email about Belize.

Me and my boyfriend want to move to the other country and well, we thought about Belize. The thing is we cant find good information about tax system and duties that you pay when you come in to the country with all your personal belongings like furnitures and specially cars.....Simply when you move there! i've trying to find this information for some time but there isnt much about it on the internet. So I thought that maybe as you are a citizen of Belize, you will know more. If you have a minute to share this with me and just give me some info like maybe where i can find this would be great! I was reading over all of your conversations in the forum and I wanted to add some details to some of the questions because I too had an amazing time in Belize and looking into fiding a place to spend quality time with family, use as retirment for my parents and myself in time, and even make some revenue off of when I am not using in through out the year.

I was looking at relastate when I ws vacationing in Belize last summer, my first trip to Central America, and the amount of money that a family would need to live here is determined by different factors. I have found the perfect place to invest my time and money that shocked and amazed me that places really exist. Everything about the experiene was wonderful. We are returning this summer to spend more time in Hokins, Belize.

I can understand what your boys are thinking. Belize did the same thing that they are afraid of. I did not want to leave. We will see if I board the plane in Dangriga when I am scheduled.
