I am opening a rest/bar/pool bar in belize. It is small and in a B&B I need someone to help me, a partner, no money involved. Would prefer a chef or someone knowledged in Caribbean cuisine. Place only seats 30 but is awesome. I want to keep it simple but great. If interested let me know.

Hi Ballyhoo I just read your post and may have asituation that would interest you. I have a son who is a graduate from Johnson and Wales University in their Hotel Managemant School (4 year program and degree - where Emeril and many other fine chefs and restauranteurs have attended). He was born in Guatemala (half hsi family is from the states, the other half from Guatemala) and is bi-lingual. His family in Guatemala owns two of the finist hotels in the country. He has worked as a Food and Beverage Manager in one of the hotels. He has worked in several restaurants along the way, in all positions and is now planning to come to Belize to open his own restaurant/bar/B&B. As this is his first venture on his own, he may be interested in some sort of partnership. Would you like to talk? John

I saw your ad and would be interested in getting more information. We are a couple who have been interested in moving to Belize for the last few years. I have my Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing, as well as my degree as a Paralegal. I have managed and opened many restaurants during and after college, as well as managing law firms here in Florida. I am an excellent bartender and cook, as well as my significant other, and we have considered opening a restaurant here, and eventually Belize (my long time dream). We have extensive world traveling knowlege as well, as he is retiring from the Navy.If interested please send an email or response

Looks like you have lots of interest, but little experience. I am a chef/ manager currently living and working in Belize. Where is your property located, on the water or inland. The difficulties in Belize come more from sourcing supplies and quality fixtures than finding good help. Would be interested in knowing more, have the ability to run quality operation while keeping it profitable and fun. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers

We are a French couple relocating in Belize from the US. We have been in the wine and restaurant business for many years. I went to a culinary school in France for 2 years and worked at some four stars restaurants there. Your offer is very interesting to us. Let me know if you'd like to get in touch. We will be in Belize from the 29th to the 10th of August. Wes. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
