I would like to get an idea of the cost of living in Gaborone for Expats.

My main interest is the cost of things that will not be supplied by my employer:

*Maintainance of a home - including groceries and cleaning

*Entertainment

*Gasoline

*Country club

If data regarding issues supplied by my employer is available - I would like that too:

Hello I am an American student who will be attending th eUniveristy of Botswana in a few months. I am interested also in pricing and the way of life i botswana...could someone email me if they are interested in corresponding with me regaridng these things...

Electronics...ie..like the trasformers, adapters I will need for my electronics...also printer for my computer...If I could meet a student that goes to the ub I would be very grateful!!! Thank you

Hi all, i currently live in Asia and i plan to move to Africa in the next couple of months, and i think that Botswana is best suited for me.I'm planning to set up a small holiday resort in out skirts of Gaborone.Does anyone have any idea what the cost living in this part of the world is like or what it might cost me to buy a 6bedroom duplex or at least rent one on a long term bases.Any one with useful detailed information please feel free to contact me.
