I would like to know from a Botswana point of view on the election of presidents and appointments of vice presidents.
How do the electorate (ordinary people of Botswana)come in to chose a leader of their choice. do they really have a say? School me on this because i strongly feel that higher offices such as those of presidents are vital. presidents have to be chosen by the grassroots and in such a way they become more responsuble and accountable to the people. That is what we call DEMOCRACY.
I might be missing something in the Botswana election process, please literate me on this issue.
