Anyone know an artist named Karl Boukliev? Maybe in his 30s or 40s by now?

I met a Karl Boukliev who drew the most amazing, if gorey, pictures, while we were both taking a French language class in Paris. I have one or two of his drawings that he doodled during class, and I also have photos of 2m. long paintings he did.

I'm just curious if he's made a name for himself yet. He was amazingly talented, so i'm dying to know.

I know Karl Boukliev because he is the brother of my mother.

He lives in Paris and works as an artist.

Maybe this is an opportunity to connect?

On one of my many fun trips to Paris, maybe one that was in the late 90's, I saw a

painting that I HAD to have. It was titled 'NEANT', painted by Karl BOUKLIEV. I

believe it was 7000 frs (about $1100. US). To this day I love it. Bought at Archange,

Place des Vosges.

I am going there next week and may try to find more of his work, if only to look at.

Love his style.
