Hi came across your add while trying to find a car to buy in Bulgaria. We have owned a house near Varna for the past 4 years but must admit dont know the company but have Bulgarian friends who sell houses. Have heard lots of horror stories including a family who have bought in the same village and now friends. we only use ours for holidays. Silly question but have you visited the property? make sure your solicitor speaks english have all paper work translated into english and if your property requires modernising this can be the biggest nightmare. However we love it in Bulgaria. If you wish for more help please dont hesitate to email me. Good luck Mike

Would love to hear from Brits living in Bulgaria as my husband and I are thinking of buying a property there -we would like to retire there later in life but have heard that the property never belongs to one unless you buy a condo is this true?-would like to know what the cost of living is like also rates and taxes on property.
