can anyone advise me please i have recently moved to bulgaria been here a month now yet i must get my car from france can i just go and return without hassle i have not got my id card yet plus i read on this site that the police stopped issue of id cards a year ago is this correct i need advice as to what is needed as i really am concerned as to what to do everybody has a different view as if no one really knows and the web sites are to complicated i would really apreciate any advice thankyou kevin

Do I have to register with police within 24 hrs of arriving on holiday, this proof is needed for return to UK

Hi you can leave and return to bg no problem as its all in the EU now, ID cards you still need a long term resident card (from immagration office at police station) if you want to reside here over 183 days a year, about 7 lev.

advisable to bring a green card with your car docs as some countrys still ask for it, and a photo copy of all docs for the car is advisable,

my friend married with bulgarian girl and registered his marriege there a year ago. he wants to know, how he can get bulgarian ID....
