Hello ladies and gentlemen! I would like to express my ideas about the view of burundian who still live in the country and the other outside of it. I think even if the country is getting better, the burundian outside of the country will bring the conflict again because they don't really what's going on. They still know that the war is not ended yet. They hate each other when they arrive in Europe or anywhere else instead of help each other. I give an exemple of where I am now. No one great his neigbour. But I suggest if we stick on each other, everything would be fine.

Hello,

I agree with you Samuel on one point. That the Burundian people should support each other wherever they go and keep an open mind. We should discuss our issues instead of harboring negative feelings towards our own neighbors.

But the thing I don't agree with you is that the war is over already. Everything from the news and from talking to people in Burundi suggests that the war isn't over yet! People disappearing, summary executions, oppression of anybody against the government, rumors about an armed militia, all of that can't make us think that we're on the road to recovery!

I actually think that we can go back to the inferno of the last years really quick! We can't let that happen, our people have suffered enough.

So wherever you are Samuel, it would be nice to encourage your fellow burundians to actively work for peace and reconstruction of our very, very poor country. It's gonna need all the help it needs and that is going to come from within us.

Peace be with you.
