I am glad that I find this site. I was looking to adopt a parrot, and contacted two person thru email. But I found out later that they are not in the US. I did some research and found that it is illegal to ship parrots to the US from oversea, but these people insist they have permit and there will be no problem for me to pick up the parrot from the airport, or even ship it to my house !! Of course they asked for money thru Western Union. My husband reminded me that once the money is transfered, it's GONE. So I turned down the offer. Then I found this site. One of the person who is trying to persuade me to adopt her hyacinth macaw is from Cameroon. I think it is a scam. Now I know not to adopt any pet from oversea. Don't even think about it.

Ok, so my suspisions made me do some research. I am dealing with someone with the email address ismaray08@yahoo.com regarding a bulldog of 12 weeks of age for adoption for $500. She is willing to send it now with no money up front and once I get the puppy health checked and cleared I can then send them money. Has anyone dealt with this person before. The name of the person is Guillermo.

Well i fell for the whole puppy scam. I was going to get another chihuahua puppy so the one I have has a friend and playmate. But it was all BULLS**T hopefully you all do some research before you buy something from another country. Well i was looking for a Chihuahua. found the cutest one on line. Emailed her the puppy was 300 euro. ANN WILSON said it was 200 euro for shipping, ok 500 euro. I sent it. DUMB AZZ MISTAKE #1 Then she said everything was good and she was on her way. well nope she wasn't she called me at 2:30 in the morning. I didn't answer i was sleeping! so i called her back in the morning and she said "THE BABY PUPPY, SHE IS ALL ALONE AND STUCK IN FRANCE. THEY NEED 220 EURO FOR INSURENCE. YOU WILL GET 200 BACK WHEN YOU GET HER FROM THE AIRPORT. PLEASE SHE'S ALL ALONE ANS I'M WORRIED SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN TO HER". Unfortanatly Very convincing. Dumb AZZ mistake #2 Then i get an email, she's on her way finally i'm getting my puppy! NOPE. i get another email from france airport. "she needs another crate. the one she was sent here with is to old to send her to italy in". Cost for that 550 euro. Yeah ok well by now i'm really having no money left. i told ANN WILSON i don't have it. she offered to pay 250 and i pay the other 300 euro. my dumb AZZ mistake #3 i paid. Now she's on her way. Hell no they said they now need a PAPER saying the dog is mine. oh and that will cost 250 euro. i told them i don't have it. They still think there getting more money out of me. they have gotten 1020 euro and i feel like a real big ass about it. thats 1, 460 american cash. I found out just tonight that i got scammed. This is such BS that they can do this and get away with it over and over and over again. I know GOD works in misterious ways and i know they will get whats coming to them. Untill then.... i have there numbers and i'm just going to keep calling and pissing them off. hey i lost my money and i am hoping this will stop.

Here's the place to report these scams from Cameroon (or any foriegn country). I figure the more of us who report it - the word will get out. Hopefully they can get the foreign govnmt to shut them down. Getting Western Union to stop sending money would be great. LARRY LINKS LIMITED is a scam. They are not listed in the Cameroon phonebooks. Classic Cameroon import scam. They will ask you to pay various fees for nothing, using fake documents.

And Nathalie, you are also being scammed, by the Cameroon pet export scam. There are no pets, be it animals, birds or reptiles exported from Cameroon, only "pretend" pets. These thieves don't have any pets, and they will ask you to pay various fees for nothing also.

Both are advance fee frauds, also known as 419 scam.

We were looking for english dulldog puppies and got a really good deal, two for the price of one. We were contacted from susana and Rev Joe from Doula Camaroon sent us pictures of her two puppies and told us all we had to do was send the money to Roland Kelly from Air France and they would send us the puppies.

They soaked us for lots of money and we never got nothing in return except empty wallet. When we contacted them in regards to the puppies they said they had been shipped to Canada Ontario

Pets Delivery Services in Ontario. Roland Kelly from Air France told us that they wanted 275 more so that the Pets Delevery place in Ontario could send them to us. We sent them the rest of the money because we thought that Roland Kelly from Air France was real.Boy were we dumb. Anyways two days later susana

and Rev Joe contacted me and told me that their was and accident with the puppies and the driver. The driver got into an accident in Douala Camaroon and that both puppies died.

They never even left Camaroon.Now susana and Rev Joe said they are getting a lawyer to sue Air France Airlines. I wonder whatthat will cost me.

I was almost duped by a scammer from Cameroon. He claimed he is location in Makati, the Central Business District of the Philippines. but when I asked him how come he claimed he's from the Philippines when in fact, he came from bloody Cameroon, he changed the topic and refused to answer but he insist that he can send the dog in 8-9 hours from Cameroon. I didn't know Cameroon got an airline that travel 2X faster than the speed of sound. Joking aside. it's a pity a lot of scammers are out there in Cameroon. It's just up to us SMART people not to fall to the ploy of these pathetic people from Cameroon.

Thank God for this web site. I, too, started to fall for the scam for a t cup yorkie. when I found this website, I got suspicious and told her of her scam via e mail. she quickly denied it and said she would send the dog C.O.D. I told her to use a certain pet carrier company and told her the cost and said I would not pay a penny, more and if I am asked to, I will report her. I haven't heard a word since.

In the meantime, Pet Express Cameroon sent me an e mail and asked for my address, etc. to ship the dog. I e mailed them back and accused them of the scam and told them I would not accept the dog if they shipped via carmeroon pet express. AGAIN, I haven't heard a word from them in over a week. Please BEWARE pet ads. Like a person above said-there is enough animals right here in the Good Old USA to adopt that needs good homes. aGAIN, i THANK YOU FOR THIS WEBSITE

hi i was scammed by a guy in cameroon, i was then emailed by someone who claimed they were from the cameroon police and he had been arrested and compensation, playing along i carried on contact and they now tell me they instructed a lawyer and the case has been won. the lawyer has now emailed me saying they need a copy of my id and a passport sized photo. WHat are the chances this is genuine, i'm not convinced. The so called solicitor also sent me via emailed what looked like court reports and papers. anyone else had anything like this or where i could check this out??????

I think this is a scam, I contacted them through an ad on a bird site, I thought they were in the UK. Even more strange is sis beth's email adress is in The USA not cameroon.

OK so I wanted a chihuahua puppy really bad but I live in Hawaii and its so hard to find one for a resonable price here. So this guy named Frunwi Fredrick contacted me about a 15 week old female he had and I could adopt it and only pay $300 for shipping. I thought this guy was in Honolulu on another island 2o min from mine, im thinking good deal. So I asked him where he was located he said he just got transfered to Cameroon. I reply CAMEROON?? Like africa??? Two hours later he replies yes basically do u want the dog or not? heres my adress go to western union and send the money. Then I start thinking... I dont remember what ur puppy looks like and honestly I cant recall what website I found you from. Plus Hawaii has all these quarenteen laws. The guy skips the website question and says that when he bought the puppy at 4 weeks old it cost him $2000 and it has already been quarenteened when it came to africa he just doesnt spend time with her and thinks she would be better off going back to someone in the US. Then he said that he would send the puppy first then have me pay after but he has a lot of bills to pay. Plus he acussed me of going to mistreat his puppy because I told him that I was concerned about the money thing and that he could be a scam. He got all upset with me and said how dare u question me im a God fearing man blah blah blah
