Hi,

I have been dealing with a guy from Durban and he said that I must first pay $50 to his vet who was on a course or something in Cameroon for him to transfer the monkey to my name. He asked for all my details and pics were event sent to me. The guy in Durban's name is Richel and the guy in Cameroon is Isidore Forsuh. Has anyone used any of them as I am too scared to transfer any money without seeing the monkey first. The monkey's name is Becky.

Uh! Didn't you read anything here??? It is all a scam. You'll be lucky if $50 is all you lose.

We have a very beautiful home raised baby capuchin monkey. Her name is Kiki. She is 16weeks old and she has been treated with nothing but LOVE and will only go to a good home. She is diaper trained and leash trained and is very loving and wears clothes and likes to lay around and watch TV and take naps with you. She is friendly and has a docile temperament. She is up to date on all shots and has never been sick. If you are interested then contact us for more information.i am located in Akron

I was scammed by a Beleive Sky who said he was in Scotland and he sent me premits that said he could import and export animals well I lost 750 and I was also scammed by a Kenny Jones his name was also Mr Emanauel he got me for 300

Reply #80 Bubba from deep in your mind (Contact Member) -

There are no monkeys. There are no import permits (for the USA). You cannot import a monkey to the United States no matter what. You cannot get a permit. Someone from Scotland or Africa cannot send you a permit.

Call the U.S. Customs Service FIRST.

Thanks for the interest in my babies capuchin monkeys.

We are not very much interest in the price of 300pounds that we offer these babies

but on their welfare. We offer them at 300pounds because we have a new generation of these babies coming up next month and will be ready for adoption in three months. I will be grateful if my babies are treated with the same love and care of which I have been offering to them and nothing else. These babies are so affectionate that can steal your heart and makes it full with joy and happiness as they run around your home with their petit coat, caps, T shirt and others. They are hand raised with children and other pets making them to be well socialized and ceases from abnormal baiting and scratching of people.

I have been training capuchin monkeys for the past 12 years their pictures and that of their parents are always available and updated. Currently I have 3 capuchin 2 male (Harry and Micky) and Dino a female all of which are getting to 7 month. Each cost 300pounds and insured to be delivered savely to your location. These babies are insured and guarantee for 1 year, and vetted. We update the vaccination of our monkeys every 3 months.babies are delivered along side all documents, toys, cloths etc to make this babies fill at home.

I read these posts and could not help but laugh...heres few points

1) average income of thoses living in Cameroon is <1000$ a year, that should say it all....they would do anything to make extra cash....that like you doing a scam for 50 k and knowing you will get a way with it...a lot of people will be doing it

2) you can't import monkeys to the US, they even are trying to stop them for research. What are you expecting? somone to knock on your door with a monkey in a box? get real..

3) western union is simlar to money order same as cash. Would you give somone in the US cash without knowing them? excatly, get real..its common sense.

If you are not sure about something..or it sounds too good to be true go to www.google.com search for the topic and you will see thousands of items related to it just like this board.

I just found an ad for two baby capuchin monkeys. when i emailed this person they turned out to be from Douala, Cameroon. Her name is Neola Prat. I have been emailing her asking her questions and i found it kind of tricky seeing as how it would be impossible to own a monkey as a pet, here in California

You cannot import monkeys into the USA no matter what.

No one in Cameroon is selling monkeys. They are ONLY stealing your money.

i have been trying to get a monkey and it's is in Cameroon. the monkey is 200 dollars and it sounds to me like it's a scam. they sent me some pics of the monkey and it was the same pics as about 5 other people thats ahs tried to sell me monkeys from there. they want you to send through western union ONLY. I CAN SMELL A SCAM FROM A MILE AWAY!!!!!

I dont really care what anyone think about the ppl in cameroon, ALL there are doing is trying to get you to send money over there and then you not going to get anything. Its all a big scam. Trust me I sent like 800$ over there and thank god the westren union ppl knew it was a scam and didnt let all the tansaction go throw, So I did get some of my money back. These ppl went as far as to make up fake website acting like a airport and put its shipping time and everything. The women even told me she was only selling the monkey so she could send the money to a charity. But in the end if you talk to someone who really dose sell monkey or talk to the local government you will find out that reguardless of the fact that the monkey has been vet check and has paper it is still illeagul to ship monkeys on airplane unless it has been aproved by the government and they only do that if its going to a zoo.

Reply #90 Bubba from deep in your mind (Contact Member) -

AND.. regardless of whether the monkey can be shipped or not... YOU CANNOT IMPORT A MONKEY INTO THE USA. You cannot get a license to import a monkey.

Can someone please give me someone to contact to buy a 'real' monkey. I live in virginia and would like to be able to met them but it is not a must. I am not really interested in dealing with ANYONE in camroon even if they 'are ligit'. Please help me find a monkey.

Reply #95 Bubba from deep in your mind (Contact Member) -

Your "first" problem is that you cannot under any condition import a monkey... so you'll need to do what everyone that wants a pet SHOULD do and that is see your pet first and take it home with you.

A better idea would be to visit your local zoo when you want to see monkeys.

I also was scam from a lady named Frings, I wish I had found this site before I send money to her. I laugh when I read all these mail cause everything she told me was said to you's. I send $300 for the monkey than the animals was quartine then they needed $400 for insurance then $200. yeah the monkey also went to paris from cameroon, and she was also coming with clothes and everything eles. We need to make these people pay for what they done to use.
