Hey guys,

You might want to know that us cars are not used in Cameroon for taxi purpose... 90%+ taxis are Japanese brands and most of them are, at least, 10 year old (I'm being very optimistic here)...

So if you intend to run a taxi business in Cameroon with US cars you might want to bring some spare parts for maintenance and repair...

Take into the account that administration will require a solid budget (if you do not have connexions)

Tax is another aspect not to be neglected since Cameroon is one of the most corrupted country on the planet and you will understand why when meeting those tax administration agents.

There are some other aspects I'd like to discuss with you here but really I do not want to discourage you... on the contrary I want to encourage guys like you making the move to the African experience... to help the African dream come true therefore...

I'd rather advice you on a slightly different business where you can use US cars and get rid of most of the administrative harassment... I am genuine from Cameroon myself with higher education background...
