Has anybody heard of AIC ltd or TURIM Sociedade Turistica & Imobiliaria, S A? We cannot seem to get the details from them of the apartment we hope to buy anad now we are very wary of paying money to them.

I saw your message and would offer a bit of advice. If you are considering buying this property get your own solictor not use theirs (so will be no no conflict of interest). Also if they are not prepared to give you details of the plans of your new home, I would be very wary. Cape Verde is a very new up and coming place, which would be ripe for some "not so honest" folk to take advantage...so I would not release any money until I have been convinced these people are who they say they are. Is there not a govermental office in Cape Verde which has a department for planning, building etc that could help you?

I wonder if you can be of help to us. We are looking for either an estate agent/Inmobilaria or possibly developers who we could collaborate with. We are a small international estate agency and have following development of your area for a while now and have had clients who hae shown an interest so would like to be able to offer properties on the Cape Verde Islands.
