Before we have been in a debating which country in the Caribbean was the hottest. Dominican Republic was, in our survey of 10 people, declared to be the hottest. Puerto Plata while recognised as having a usually hot climate, also has cooling trade winds in the Malecon. Sosua was thought to be one of the hottest with the beaches and also the most accommodation in the hotel Sosua Bay Beach Resort on the North Coast. Cabarete was the most sunny and dry yet one of the cooler wiht the wind of the ocean. the mountainous Dominican were pleasant coolness at higher altitudes and in the rain forest areas, with the benefit of sunny heat at sea level.
