So my husband & I are talking about moving to Grand Cayman. He works in construction. I am a teacher. What is it like living in Cayman Islands? How would a teacher go about finding a teaching job? Trackbacks

Just visit my blog and you will find out what it's like to live in the Caymans.Your husband is in construction. What aspect? Is he a Jamaican construction worker who will be paid peanuts to do the work of 3 men? Or is he a foreman who will be in charge of the said Jamaican workers? Will he be working on the DART project called Caymana Bay? The FOAM king has paid his way into Cayman history you know. His workers are Mexican looking Spanish people. Anyhoo, teachers make no money in Cayman. Even the Montessori school teachers make less than $30, 000CI a year. Expect to be living off your husband's salary if he is a head guy in construction. Otherwise, you will be living the life of a pauper in this overinflated "paradise".
