Can anyone please email me with the income requirements for expatriation to Chile? I am talking about what you need to get a visa to live there permanently.Doug

You just can't move to Chile like that. There are endless visa and re-entry requirements, you can only obtain a work visa for a year, so you should find somewhere else to move.

Doug: See Chile-yen.com. The ex-pats there certainly do not report the restrictions suggested by the previous reply you received. They are, however, selling an e-book...which is fairly interesting.

I'm looking at a move to Chile early 2008. My employment history is leaisure based, having opened up bars and restaurants in this country. Saying that, I'm pretty multi-skilled and my Spanish is improving. Can anyone suggest some good places to begin looking for work etc...

It might be best to plan a trip to visit and check out the requirements first hand! • Page 1 (Original Post) •
