Retirement starts in two years.My Chinese wife and I have our Shanghai home bought.Everything seems to be ready, with the exception of a visa that will allow me to stay for any length of time. Is it possible to obtain a visa other than a visitor or work visa?

Jack,
I am three years before retirment and my Chinese wife and I bought a house in Wuhan. We are now living in Canada and she has her landed immigrate card, our plan is we move back to China I will get a landed immigrate to China, in that we we can travel in and out of both country without Visa's.
