O2 Face , an elaborated desktop access control software from O2Micro , came out at the end of year 2008. This software, basing on the advanced technology of facial recognition, adopts patent technology to add face logging onto system function to Windows system by camera. Furthermore, high computer hardware is not needed to use this software. For the Windows XP and Vista users, it only need not more than 512M memory, not more than 100M hard drive space, and a common camera to enjoy the convenience facial recognition brings. FACE supports Windows XP and Vista systems. Users shall no longer be bothered by thinking of a complicated password. Users only need to face the camera to log onto the system. Therefore, it highly reduces the risk of password being stolen as the password is rarely used. In view of users’ needs, O2Face provides living recognition to avoid using picture to log onto the system instead of face, which highly enhances the safety. If you are interested in this software, you can go to web site above to download it for free.
