What are the requirements for retiring on Christmas Island?

From my time working briefly on CI, the retirement requirements are a place to live, money to live on, and the ability to relax like no other place on earth.

It would be a great place to retire, so long as you don't get involved in the politics, nor expect the government to keep pumping excessive amounts of money onto the island (for the size of the population)

Well i think the government is not investing enough on the island.

Christmas Island is an ideal place for investment. I think they need a prod.
