Has anyone driven to costa rica with their pet? I see from John Howell's books that it is possible to drive about 8 hours from AZ. I would love to hear from others that have driven, and what your experience is. PS I am a single woman and would be driving alone during the day.pura vida debbie

DebbieCosta Rica is the safest country in Central America. But, as in North America or Europe, driving or riding in a car is one of the most dangerous things you'll do in Costa Rica. Never drive after dark. Possessions left in your unattended car (trunk included) are likely to be stolen. If you have more question contact me at www.petsventura.com

Costa Rica is NOT SAFE.Driving is the not the problem and driving after dark is not the problem. The DANGER in Costa Rica: It's People! What you need to protect: Your Sanity (as well as your wallet of course). • Page 1 (Original Post) •
