What type of music is the most popular in Costa Rica? For some reason i'm thinking Hip Hop? I have no idea! Heh.

Reggae is very popular in Costa Rica. They also have different varieties of folk music. I think music popularity differs from area to area in Costa Rica.

Folk music eh? Sounds like a place my dad would enjoy. He lives off very little over on a small island in Canada. Little electricity and makes money via odd jobs and such. He's huge on folk music. The heat would probably drive him crazy though.
