To relax and live in a place with a better cost of living and great weather.

I would figure the scenic views and the great sandy white beaches would be a huge #1 in my book.

The cost of living is cheap cheap cheap.

The golf courses are nice and for me that is a perk.

Dear Old Grump from San Jose,

I too aam an old(65)grump and will moving to Costa Rica in June. Below I have copied a notice I am sending to several bulletin boards and blogs. Maybe you can me (at least grumpingly so)out.

NOTICE:

I am relocating in June to Costa Rica. I spent three years in Patagonia, so this is not my first expat experience. I am trying to link up with some bilingual individual in San Jose, who would be willing to act a a guide and companion for a week or a month to show me around. I am on a fixed incom but can probably cover transportation, meals and miscellaneous expenses.
