Hi all. Have been looking for a retirement home in Roatan Honduras and may change plans but will still get out of the US. I have heard great things about Costa Rica and will plan a trip to check it out but for now I know nothing. It looks like the Int Air Port is in San Jose and Jaco looks like as close as you can get to the open ocean. I am interested in fishing and my wife likes to golf. I also want to be able to walk any where we need to go and only drive when needed for shopping or travel adventures. So where should we be looking? What area do you like? What about crime/safety?
