I have read that Costa Rica has some of the most beautiful birds? What kind of birds could I expect to see on a canopy tour? I would love to see some gorgeous birds. In the United States I mostly see Blue Birds and Robins. Nothing fancy!

I'm not an expert and have never been in Costa Rica, but I have always had an interest in birds. Yes I'm one of these "bird-watchers" type of people :p
From what I know, Costa Rica has macaws, the quetzal - or resplendent trogon, black frigate birds, and there's also hummingbirds.. Not so sure what others there are but I am positive there's more!
