Yes, they are pretty good, however, since they have been around a while, the man to woman ratio is low, however, they have quite a large number of members. There is another site that is also good and a little more affordable with an excellemt male to female ratio. Try:

My Tica lied to me and didnt give me back my money like they said they would, I called them several times and was just blown off each time. The whole thing was really disappointing, you think your goind to meet a wonderful Colombian lady and your get horrible women just wanting to come to the USA for a green card and they think you are rich, somehow they dont understand that I worked for every cent I have. I am a good person and really wanted to believe I was going to meet the woman of my dreams, well my dreams were shattered and my heart was crushed. I want somebody in my life and I want some children, I am going to turn 49 and have yet to have anything, I work hard and am a Electronic Engineer working on space systems at Loral. I have no one for so many years and I keep trying, I have gone to Central and South America several times with no luck what so ever. I wont give up, there must be someone out there in this whold wide world for me, I dont understand why no one is there for me, I have much to offer, not in money but in soul, the love of god, my skills and I am loving and kind, I love animals and want so much to share, but nothing, I will not give up, no way...I just want a little happyness...just a little. I know god is with me and there is a reason for everything...I must be patient and wait. God bless you all and thanks for listening to me, may you have peace and light in your lives.

I assume you paid with your credit card? Why not dispute it with Visa/MasterCard.

Also, why would you go to a Costa Rica dating site, to find a Colombian woman?

My Tica promotes Colombian and other states, so it seemed like a logical choice for me. Yes I paid with a credit card but everyone refused to make good on the claim. I believed it when I was told that I would get my money back from one of the people in the My Tica office, I was told that yes indeed I would get all of my money back and they did not live up to what they said, I was lied to. It is sad that a person has to suffer because of people that say they are there to help me, I am alone and with less money and less hope because of people that are bad.
