Beautiful Costa Rica Mountain Properties - 1.5-225 Hectares

We have several properties for sale in the beautiful mountains near Santiago de Puriscal. They are located in between San Jose and the Pacific ocean. The area is about an hour from both the city and some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

All properties are fully titled and include many features, each property is different but some amenities include:

Bio-diverse wildlife and vegetation (one of the most bio-diverse areas in the world)

Fruit trees

Road access

Easy access to electricity

Easy access to fresh spring water

Internet access at nearby school

There is much local support and help for anyone interested in investing in Biodiesel farming on these properties. In addition to being profitable this can be done in a way that aids in reforestation. This area has a goal of sustainability and is an up and coming bio-diesel production and distribution center, therefore it is necessary to have a willingness to work with local business-owners and provide jobs for the locals.

Ideal buyers are people who want to get away, have respect for and want to preserve nature and wildlife, and enjoy interacting with very embracing and trustworthy Ticos and motivated expatriates. We are not interested in selling properties to people who want to make big subdivisions, do large-scale cattle farming, or anything else that will destroy the beautiful nature and biodiversity of the area.

"Easy access to electricity". What would be the exact costs and time frame to actually get the electricity to the property?

Does "bio-diesel production" equate to respecting and preserving nature?

"Wear an appropriate respirator (note that the only approved respirators for methanol are respirators with external air supplies; see Resources), heavy rubber gloves, safety goggles, and clothing that will protect your skin from chemicals, especially methanol. It can be absorbed through the skin and cause illness, blindness, or debilitation."

The final product may be fairly safe... but making it will bring chemicals and spills that really SHOULDN'NT BE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT LAND!

You don't want big farms or subdivisions, but DO WANT chemicals cause "biodiesel" is "IN"? If anything is done the "Tico" way, I doubt that fresh spring water will be fresh for long.

Having an established internet connection in Costa Rica is nearly a joke, so I doubt going to a nearby school will satisfy anyone that has more than a casual interest in the net.

Now, if you are looking to like a solitary life as a fruitarian away from technology, but in a whacked out society, then this is the place for you... but leave your dreams of biodiesel home.
