Favorite Resturants?

Recipes and Food from Costa_Rica.

matt from nowhere, earth -

I'm planning on visiting this summer coming up and would like to collect information so i can be prepared by the time i head over there. I will be camping most of the time but would like to check out some resturants. Could anybody suggest some resturants and give me a bit of information on them? Thanks!

El Mirador just outside Alajuela (where the airport is). If you stay in a hotel in Alajuela the restaurant will pick you up (free -- driver works for tips).

An excellent view... worth going for lunch and dinner to see the different day and night views. If you go at night a jacket is a good idea.

We have a restaurant in our hometown that also offers a free drive from your hotel to the restaurant and back. It is the best offer you can take up if you are out of the area because everyone knows driving can be stressful in a town you don't know much about.

Wow, I never knew about how certain resturants would drive customers to the resturant and back. That will be useful as I don't think I will be renting a car when i get down there. Thanks guys for the information! I'll make sure to check the resturants out. Also, Jules, what is the name of the resturant you mentioned?
