Looking for land

I am looking for land where I could dock a boat. I want to build right on the water and be walking distance from a boat on the water.

You generally cannot own property within 100 meters of the ocean. You have to get a "concesion". That probably means using a Costa Rica Corporation and maybe not owning 100% of it. Then you have to meet whatever regulations the municipality comes up with.
For regular land you can buy it as a foreigner in your name with no trouble.
