How many people have retired in Costa Rica. Were you happy that you made the decision to do so? Any regret at all? What was the hardest part of relocating to a new country? Thanks!

There are lots of people pushing for retirement in Costa Rica (books, newsletters, etc)... It is an exotic place with cheap leaving and hot women... or so goes the pitch.

There is a very dark side too and lots of people (myself included before long) are bailing out.

Maybe the better, but more impolite word to use would be "easy".

Maybe Panama, though I hear they are being invaded by 100+ Americans a day that are MOVING there.
