It is generally the same as USA 110 Volts and same plugs. You may find grouding to be optional even if there are 3 prongs. There may be some other rare exceptions. Bring your USA stuff and don't worry too much.

Hello, I am going to Costa Rica on vacation and wondered if I need to bring current voltage converter as I am bringing my mini laptop.

Also is it safe to bring such items?

Thank you.
