I am not always on the internet, i prefer to just go to internet cafes whenever i feel like surfing the internet. Is there any in Costa Rica? Or would it be a better idea fo just purchase a laptop?

There are plenty of internet cafes. You will have no problem in that department.

I wish we had internet cafes where I live. We don't but I am sure they are plentiful in places like New York and LA. I am sure the internet cafes are plentiful in Costa Rica considering the coffee production there.

What does Coffee have to do with Internet Cafe's?Internet Cafe's are plentiful because most people can't afford their own computer.

Maybe I am just a bit slow in my old age in that..."cafe" is the spanish word for coffee.. or "cafe" in english is a place you go to drink coffee. I've never been in an internet cafe that served coffee. A few have pop machines or a few snacks.

Yeah the internet cafes i have attended mostly stayed away from serving drinks because think about it. What if you spilled coffee [or other drinks] over the keyboard? That would be dangerous, and expensive. I have gone to a few that did serve drinks but you had to drink them at the cafe section before suing the computers, but that's not too popular. I don't know about other internet cafes though, maybe some DO serve drinks for internet users? • Page 1 (Original Post) •
