Hi I am Scottish living in Northern Ireland I and my partner have fallen in love with Northern Cyprus and would love to live there at first six months of the year.

Can any one out there help we would love to talk (email )to people already there living the life to answer so many of our questions.

We have spent so much time on the computer and on our last holiday in March looking at properties. Now we want to mo9ve forward can you help us find our dream. Thanks to who ever for reading this.

Hi everybody, I too am from Bonnie Scotland. I have just written a novel due to be published at the London Book Fair in April 2007. I would like to move to Cyprus with my family and live off the royalties. I have a wife and two teenage sons (well behaved). All the usual questions, Can I find work?, would like to rent before buying property, any advice?,

Help greatly appreciated as I can see I am one of many.

I have a 3 bedroom villa in Northen Cypurs with funture near Famagusta. It is in a quite road of 32 houses with a pool. All the bedrooms have air con, and there is a uint in the living room. please e-mail if you would like to rent.

Hi there,

We brought a property 4 years ago in Kyrenia and we had it privately rented unfurnished but now we have furnished it and I found some things in the U.K., that I want to send out there via the postal system, i.e, towels, curtains, mainly just small household items. What is the customs duty and what documents, do I need to get them out there to our apartment without actually going myself, please? We have some one out there to receive them.

If anyone can help then I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi

We have just come back from Northern Cyprus having viewed several properties to purchase, we found one, but have heard some horrible stories about the builders taking out a further loan on the land they have already built on, thus making you liable for this debt, is there any truth in these rumours, also how long does it take to get your permission to buy (several people have told us 2 years others have said they have not got theirs and they have lived there for 5 years.)

We have been told different things by the Estate Agent but would like to hear independently from ex-pats who have bought there.

Hope someone can help us.
