Hi, my wife and I would like to permanantly live in cyprus when I retire but are worried about health costs and prescription costs. I don't think we could afford private medical insurance so is the health care available adequate. We have younger friends living in Cyprus at the moment, they have been telling us that you MUST have private health care, that a prescription costs C£17.00 per item and that any free health care is both TIME LIMITED and not adequate. However when we were in Cyprus in April, we spoke to many Ex Pats and we were told the quite reverse. I need to know if we would be putting ourselves in danger (medically) by not having private health insurance. Would appreciat some help Jeff • Page 1 (Original Post) •
