Who cares about Hans Island and whether it is owned by Canada or Denmark? I think all the outcasts that care should be sent to live with Santa on the north pole! Trackbacks

The rocky, wind-swept Hans Island is an interesting place for geologists, but you wouldn't want to spend much time on it. The island has been in the news recently, with Canada and Denmark each defending territorial claims to Hans Island, located in the Nares Strait, between northern Ellesmere Island and Greenland. . . . To resolve the dispute over who has claim to the island, Dewing suggests Canada and Denmark share Hans Island, which would then be half Nunavut, half Greenland - and a tourist attraction in its own right. "They should put the border right in the middle. That would be the only place in North America where you could touch Canada and Europe," suggested Dewing.

I think whoever colonizes HANS ISLAND first should get it. If no one gets the job done in a year maybe the Danish and Candians can donate it to Osama Bin Laden or someone.
