Hi Richard,

I have a house in Ecuador, Salinas to be exact. I lived there on my own for about 6 months in lots less than $1400 a month, more like less than $500 a month. I'm a 44yo female, at the time I was 40. Didn't have a problem, you might have to set some folks straight in r/t letting them know they cant take advantage of you, but once that's done you'll be all good. I'm pretty fluent in spanish, however the spanish I was used to is a little different than Ecuadorean spanish. Dialect.
