Some years ago, myself and some of my friends became unemployed and squandered our savings with no income. Well, this had happened to some of us a number of times, ever since we had started working. We were fed up. As soon we lost our job, the income stopped. We envied people who were doing something on their own, a business of some sort. We discovered that we never found any of them without money. In fact, most of them had built up to substantial income levels over the years, when we were struggling to make ends meet. They had their own homes and some of them had bought and let properties, thus enjoying a higher standard of living.
We wanted to be like them.
“I am no longer worried about losing a job,” one said. “Someone gave me a business idea. I developed it, without much hard work.
“I had felt very lonely after losing my last job. No one wanted to know me. “But now, I know lot of people – through my business.
“The demand for my service has grown and I meet all kinds of people, who keep coming back and introduce others to me who need my service. I have now enough time to enjoy myself, and think about other ideas of generating more income.
“I have one in mind which, if I can pull it, will give me a couple millions within a week’s time. I won’t ask for more. I will retire and may be, help others or do some community work which I feel will give great satisfaction.”
Well after hearing what he said, he recommended us to read a book. We did and we never looked back.
