I like to blog, especially about Ethiopian politics. Problem is - nobody seems to be talking about the things that I think matter most. Right now, there are two very important bills on the way to becoming law. I am referring to the Press and Freedom of Information and the Charities and Societies proclamations. Both laws are relevant for Ethiopians living abroad - the first prohibits media ownership by foreing citizens while the second would consider foreign funding ground for disqualification as a local organization.
