Well some bands who is famous from Finland over the world is Him with the singer Ville Valo. Also Nightwish. And ofcourse Lordi who did win the eurovision song contest 2006.

And then there is a lot rally drivers who are pretty famous and also the F1 drivers as Kimi Räikkönen and Mika Häkkinen.

And there is some hockey players who are really famous. One example Jari Kurri. Who played many years in NHL also and is in the Hockey Hall of Fame, HHOF. Gretzky is the godfather to Kurri's children — not surprising, as during their prime in Edmonton, Kurri was always closest to Gretzky, who himself has always been the first to acknowledge his teammates for their success, and frequently fed Kurri goal opportunities. Coming from "The Great One", the compliment "Jari and I see the game the same way"
