'Wanting to move to France' Wanted

Wanting to move to France

My husband and I are hoping to move to France and we are wondering where to start! My husband is a builder and can do all aspects of construction work - new build, renovation, conversions, extensions etc.

If anyone could point us in the right direction as to how my husband could get work in France I would be really grateful.

i am 24 years old & have never traveled out of the states. i don't have too much money and want to stay in france for maybe a month or two or three(?).

i guess i could describe myself as a young (old soul) hippie gypsy lady who is not at all high maintenance. i would want to stay somewhere quiet where i could stay for a trade.anything is negotiable.

i had the idea of perhaps posting somewhere that i could do house sitting but i don't yet know how to go about that successfully either. i am looking for ideas, stories, recommendations, anything that would be of help. would like to start in france.

whatever insight i get will be much appreciated.
