I am looking for a researcher based in Ghana, (in the Western Region will be an advantage) to conduct research assignments and fact finding missions for a charity organisation. This will involve taking photographs on digital camera, downloading and transferring this information to trustees based in the UK and US, alongside reports on the researchers findings. The researcher will conduct some interview and will act as a representative for the charity so should have a good understanding on development and an interest in development of Ghana.The candidate should be computer literate, have access to a digital camera, internet and email.
They should have working knowledge of a good the English Language and also a ghanaian dilect. They
should have experience of creating reports, working with statistics and conducting interviews, therefore a recent graduate or an experience journalist will be ideal for this vacancy.
The charity will hire the successfull candidate on a part time basis, paying generously for each assignment. After a probationary period of three months the successful candidate will be hired as a trustee of the charity and be able to apply for other positions that may arise. There is the opportunity to lead various charity incentives that are implemented in Ghana, also.
