Hi Everyone,
I am currently in the process of starting up a business which relies heavily on Ghana for production of services. In order for the business to work I need to live in and run the business from Ghana.
I have tried trawling the web for information on how emigraiton works and what I need to do in order to emigrate. I have also tried calling the embassy in London but I just get put through to an answering machine.
Any information from expats who have gone through this process would be invaluable. Please send any info you may have to ghana@guavastudios.com or reply to this post - thanks in advance!

Hi Scott,
You might want to contact the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre. They have a good website, www.gipc.org.gh. You will get your residence/working permit through the establishment of your company - by investing a certain amount of foreign currency into your company.
If your company is British, I actually don't know whether it's possible to officially live here.

Hi Scott
It is possible to move and live full time in Ghana, and you are right it is not easy to find out the process and its not very clear even when you go through the system.
I have helped starting two of my friends start businesses. my number is ghana 0240309374. I currently work in Nigeria but been hanging around ghana for nearly a decade and know my way around the systems.
