Hi, I am an aussie living in Greece and want to buy a bike or perhaps even an ATV. They seem a little expensive here and I thought about bringing one from back home (Australia). This will be much cheaper for me. The only thing I am unsure of is the complications once it gets here.

Will I have to pay taxes and if so how much will they be?

Will I have trouble getting it registered?

How do I go about getting it registered?

I know a lot of people bring cars in from Germany and the process is not so difficult. I need to know what the story is for bringing in cars/bikes from outside of europe.

I'd appreciate any answers or info on agencies/offices I can call.

Mano
