Hi all

I'm a greek-australian who will be moving to Thessaloniki around April 2010 with my husband. I speak fluent Greek but would like to meet people from English speaking countries while I'm living there. It would be great to share the experience of moving countries with others.

To be honest I'm a bit nervous about the move !

Yiasou Despina, Im a greek Australian also.

Thats great and brave of you to move!My partner is moving to Thessaloniki in Feb 2010 forever (he says) and I am in the process of deciding whether to move with him! If I go we will get married, otherwise our relationship is over :(

Im quite fearful of the isolation factor and really struggling with this decision.

Any tips on how you were able to make your decision? How do you intend to live it out, is it 'forever?'.

PS His brother has been living in Salonika for the past 3 yrs and so do some of his cousins from Ausralia.
