THE FOLLOWING HE SAID.NOW HOW IN THE HELL CAN HE JUSTIFY CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ABRAMOFF AND CRONIES, the evidence is right here. http://herndon1.sdrdc.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?20036672131 Former Guam Delegate Robert Underwood, who's running for governor for the second time after having lost to Camacho in the 2002 gubernatorial election, told the Pacific Daily News in January that he might have been a victim of an Abramoff effort in his 2002 election bid to influence who becomes governor of Guam. Underwood was off island yesterday, and when he called back from California for comment, the PDN missed his call. Underwood has said direct mailers printed out of a stateside business owned by a lobbying client of Abramoff undermined his first run for governor. The direct mailers, sent to about 25,000 members of Guam's Filipino community, had painted Underwood as being allegedly biased against Filipinos, a charge Underwood has said is untrue. Trackbacks

Sorry I meant to say in my message above:How can Robert Underwood claim to have been a victim of Abramoff, when on the other hand, Robert Underwood received at least 4 campaign contributions, amounting to 2000.00 Dollars plus from the Abramoff people? There is just something wrong, dont you think so? Maybe now he will blame it on the PDN for false reporting.

As I posted from the other topic, individual campaign contribution below $1, 001.00 is still within the provision of the federal election law. Even though a politician receives a total of Hundred Thousand Dollars as long as his individual campaign receipt is below such provision, it is not illegal in any way (as in a lightbulb) :) Now, you are no longer ignorant about it ;)

It’s not the amount of contribution which people have a problem with. It is Underwood’s character keeping these contributions from the very same lobbyists/group he was condemning. Change the fuse so your bulb will light up again.

Then why post about the contribution made to him in the first place? At least, Robert Underwood has the gut to condemn someone like Abramoff, a well-known manipulator. It is an emotional gut to say that hard-work by ownself is more deserving than paying someone else; in a simpler sense, do your own politicking in a clean-mannered way rather than paying someone who is known in doing a corruptive way... got it? A good-natured and self-actualized person doesn't deserve to be near or working with a corrupt person Click click click :] In reference to a Federal Investigative Report, ask Camacho, they did! (lightbulb on) :)

Cfelix, in other words you are saying it is ok for Underwood to pocket campaign contributions from the corrupt and manipulative people like Abramoff. You pocket the money first and then condemm that person? No Shame as usual!
