Well, the cost of living in Haiti is low indeed. It is claimed to be the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with high poverty indexes. This is against the fact that the Haitians are wonderful, warm people.
You can fly to Haiti without a VISA(though this is mostly unique to an American). Staying there for more than 3 months will however need going to an immigration office.
That sounds like an easy place to retire in, does it not?
