Hello,

My family and I, have spent 1 year in Budapest hungary from January to september 2008 and I would like to share my very bad and poor experience concerning the mooving that i have done recently. The purpose of this message is to avoid to other peoples to be catch by this kind of problems that occur to me and is not acceptable when we contract a professional.

We have decided to contract the moving company "Move One Relocations" from a selection of 6 international movers. Some of their staff speack perfectly French, and this point was one of the reason to contract them as we do not speak magyar but French. Our contact from Move One was very kind with us and seems to be very professional.

Once we have paid the invoice (we had to pay the full amount as it was a directive to proceed to the moving) we start to collect serial disaster. … 8 hours waiting for the delivery without anyone able to inform us of the situation; we have also discovered that the company has change the truck; instead of doing the delivery in the same truck used at the loading activity, at the arrival, another truck was there, a 40 tn for only 45 m3….. In fact, we have discovered that Move one has decided on his way to make one transport for several customers, reason of the change of truck. The result was that Move one did not check if this kind of huge 40 tn truck would be able to deliver in the small streets in French…. Finally, we had no other choice to unload the furniture and organized another loading in a proper small 45 m3 truck so that the delivery would be possible. This activity had to be organised, managed and paid by myself.

But the worst, is that move one denied to use his insurance when we have discovered and registered damages to some elements. Of course those damages have been notified and confirmed by the driver of the truck before any unloading activity. Nevertheless, Move one maintain his position and do not recognise the damage. We can clearly said that we have been abused by this company, with broken elements, without any possibility to make pressure as we've paid the full amount…. Their reply is now arrogant, and unhonest, nothing to see with the kind professional, that we met in Budapest. We are expatriate since 10 years, this was our fifth moving and we've never been in such unprofessional movers and unfair. I imagine that lots of people that will read this note might be in the same configuration as us, moving regularly and we know how precious it is to find the good service that we paid for.

That is the reason of this mail and please feel free to diffuse and to warn who is moving regularly.

If you want more informations you can write me at adougnac@gmail.com

Regards.

Bonjour,

Cordialement,

Alexandre Dougnac.-
